STEAMY WINDOWS

Finger drawing is historically one of the first places a young person draws. Everyone has done it. All of the steamy windows that I’ve painted and hung on my walls and the walls of other people are a tale end of when I was 5 years old.

They take me back to the first drawings I remember making. Cats and dogs, in the car, lots of horses. So natural. In the house, I was drawing airplanes shooting other airplanes down, representative of the beginning of World War II. My parents never asked me to stop.
